T&C's

Pennine Way Bag Transfer specialises in providing a personal sherpa service for the Southern stages of walking the Pennine Way, by helping you to move your luggage/baggage from one overnight accommodation to your next place of stay. We can transfer you baggage/luggage along the Pennine Way from any of these places: Edale – Crowden – Standedge – Hebden Bridge – Cowling – Malham Pennine Way Bag Transfer will collect your luggage/baggage from your B&B accommodation, YHA or campsite and transfer them to the place of your next overnight stay. Luggage/baggage can be suitcases, rucksacks, or even camping equipment. The cost is £20 per bag per transfer, subject to a minimum of two bags per booking. Each bag is restricted to a maximum weight of 20 kilos. The Pennine Way is probably the most well-known and demanding of the National Trails. Walking the Pennine Way is both physically and mentally challenging given the variety of terrain and weather conditions encountered, especially on the first
two walking days after leaving Edale and heading to Kinder Scout, Bleaklow and then Laddow Rocks up to Black Hill where all of the seasons can be encountered in a single day. The southern section of The Pennine Way starting from Edale amd heading towards to Malham, allows the walker to experience an array of different landscapes from the gritstone of the Dark Peak in the Peak District National Park and windswept moorland, to the green picturesque farmland heading up towards Malham, with the dramatic limestone that
can be seen at Malham Cove. The southern section of the Pennine Way walk is usually completed in five or six walking days and can be made into a less challenging and more enjoyable experience if you use a sherpa service to take the strain out of the walk, by using our van
to move your luggage/baggage each day, leaving you with just your map, camera and lunch to carry on the walk. You just simply leave your luggage/baggage at your overnight accommodation and we will collect the luggage/baggage and transfer it to your next Pennine Way overnight accommodation stop ready for your arrival. Baggage and luggage transfers for the Pennine Way can be booked for any number of luggage/baggage transfers and
we highly recommend this sherpa service especially for the first two days whilst you find your walking legs!
